Job Description We're looking for a skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician to keep our operations running smoothly. You'll be the go-to person for ensuring our electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatically controlled equipment is operating at peak performance. This role demands a proactive individual who can not only troubleshoot and repair but also mentor and guide other team members. Responsibilities Work independently with minimal supervision, planning the necessary sequence of operations and methods for major or minor repairs to building and factory systems guided by good trade practices, manufacturer's specifications and safety standards. Assist in the setup of scheduled maintenance on equipment, including writing and modifying work instructions. Perform special inspections and repair and maintenance work to prevent breakdowns of building and factory systems such as Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, Compressed Gas Equipment, Vacuum Systems, Ro/DI Systems, Electrical Systems, Monitoring and Control Systems, and Building Infrastructure. Manage medium to large sized projects with minimal supervision, coordinating with contractors, locating parts, creating parts lists, ordering parts, and collaborating with others to complete projects. Conduct scheduled, routine inspections on building and factory support equipment, maintain appropriate logs, and analyze inspection logs to identify potential equipment failures and take action to prevent failure. Train other operators in all areas of the job assignment. Use a wide variety of hand tools, power tools, test equipment, measurement equipment, and machine tools. Perform advanced repairs on air conditioning, refrigeration, electrical and other systems, including control components. Perform miscellaneous related duties as required, including minor housekeeping of the assigned work area. Job Requirements Must have completed an A.S. in air conditioning or a related field, or have a minimum of 6 years of equivalent experience as described above.
