We have opportunities for Maintenance Repair Electricians at our advanced manufacturing facility in Fostoria, Ohio. Candidates should hold a Journeyman card or an equivalent apprenticeship, or have a 2‑year degree in the electrical field with at least 3 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience. We pay well – the top hourly rate is $36.13. The plant operates 24/7, offering varied shift options with differential pay for off‑shift hours. Morgan values work/life balance and provides no forced overtime for hourly associates. Job Purpose Maintain all electrical devices and machines within the plant, ensuring proper operation and safety compliance. Responsibilities Follow all Morgan safety standards and guidelines. Adhere to NFPA and National Electrical codes. Use all required Arc Flash gear. Possess a Journeyman’s card or approved electrical apprenticeship. Hold an associate degree (highly desirable). Be available to work any shift schedule as assigned. Essential Functions Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to stand or kneel for extended periods. Ability to reach above head level when working on elevated equipment. Ability to ascend and descend ladders or stairs. Ability to push and pull equipment into proper placement. Ability to work in extreme or hot, cold environments. Identify opportunities to improve equipment and reduce downtime. Provide technical support for all electrical process equipment.Perform moderate to complex installation, troubleshoot, and repairs. Diagnose and repair equipment and components such as motors, drives, relays, starters, and other related electrical devices used for industrial equipment. Ensure safety devices are not bypassed or eliminated without proper authorization. Work independently with minimal supervision, and also in a team environment. Perform routine preventative maintenance (PM) on all equipment. Perform tasks as directed by plant supervisor. Qualifications Documented proof of experience in industrial electrical field and/or a Journeyman’s card. Ability to work collaboratively with other trades. Must be a US Person as defined by 22CFR120.15. Skills and Abilities Strong industrial electrical background. PLC, VFD, and instrumentation experience (a plus). Strong organisational skills, including attention to detail and multi‑tasking. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Other duties as assigned by management.
