Automotive Warranty Litigation Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks an experienced litigation attorney to join its automotive product liability and warranty litigation practice in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience, be highly motivated, and possess excellent writing skills. They should be capable of acting independently throughout the discovery process and assisting in trial. Duties Take depositions, argue motions, and attend court hearings and mediations. Draft motions, pleadings, briefs, discovery requests, and other legal documents. Conduct complex legal research and analysis, and draft memoranda. Prepare status reports and recommendations for clients. Review document collections in preparation for litigation. Manage all aspects of litigation from initial pleading through trial. Requirements Admitted to the CA bar. Experience with discovery and law and motion. Familiarity with California Lemon Law, including the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. State and federal court experience. Excellent academic credentials and work history. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Licensed to practice law in California. Skills Superior writing and analytical skills. Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to handle sensitive and time-sensitive matters. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
