Minimum Qualifications Valid Mortgage Loan Originator NMLS number. Proven experience in mortgage loan origination, specifically with residential mortgage products. Strong knowledge of mortgage banking practices, loan closing procedures, and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams. Ability to analyze financial information and credit reports to determine borrower eligibility. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with VA loans. Familiarity with the Charleston, SC real estate market and local lending environment. Proficiency with mortgage loan origination software Encompass. Demonstrated success in building referral networks within the mortgage and real estate industries Responsibilities Evaluate and pre-qualify potential borrowers by assessing their financial status, credit, and property evaluations.
