Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Weekend and Holiday Rotation | No Call | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an Intermediate Care/PCU/Stepdown unit at a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:5
• Monitor, manage, and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias
• Manage peripheral lines and PICC lines in accordance with facility protocols
• Titrate IV drips as ordered and within scope of practice
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation schedules as required
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license – must be in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIH certifications required
• Demonstrated experience with cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
• Experience with PCU patient ratios (1:5)
• EPIC electronic health record experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience with peripheral and PICC line care and management
• Familiarity with titrating drips in a stepdown or intermediate care setting
