Registered Nurse - Circulator (OR)

Schedule

This position requires 10-hour day shifts with weekend and evening/night call responsibilities. Must be available for call with a 30-minute response time.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will serve as a circulator in the Operating Room, providing patient care before, during, and after surgery. The role involves scrubbing for procedures as required and collaborating with surgical teams across various specialties.

Responsibilities

• Circulate in the Operating Room for procedures including general surgery, orthopedic, GYN, urology, ophthalmology, vascular, and plastic surgery.
• Scrub for various surgical cases as needed.
• Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and standards of care.
• Assist in the coordination and prioritization of patient care in the surgical environment.
• Work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other OR team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an RN circulator preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Must maintain an active RN license.
