This travel nursing assignment offers exposure to a dynamic intermediate care environment (IMCU) managing a diverse patient population, including cases of sepsis, heart failure, hypertensive emergencies, respiratory failure, chronic kidney and metabolic disorders, and more. Role Expectations and Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a 16-10 bed IMCU with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Administer Heparin drips and monitor responses meticulously
• Assess, monitor, and document changes for patients with complex conditions (e.g., COPD, substance abuse, encephalopathy, TDM2)
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams and support effective care transitions
• Uphold rigorous safety and infection prevention standards

Desired Qualifications:

• 2 or more years of recent experience in stepdown or intermediate care nursing
• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Confidence with high-acuity patients and proficiency in titrating drips
