Commercial Litigation Attorney

We are looking for an experienced Attorney/Lawyer to support a well-established California law firm serving financial institutions, lenders, and business clients in complex dispute matters. This Long-term Contract position is based in Costa Mesa, California, and offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated commercial litigation in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The attorney selected will contribute to high-level case strategy, written advocacy, and courtroom preparation across a range of business-related matters.Responsibilities:• Manage commercial litigation files through various stages in both state and federal courts.• Advocate for banking, lending, and corporate clients in contested business disputes.• Prepare litigation documents such as complaints, motions, discovery requests and responses, and subpoenas.• Perform legal research and translate findings into practical recommendations for case direction.• Support the development of litigation strategy in collaboration with other attorneys and legal staff.• Take part in depositions, settlement discussions, court appearances, and trial preparation.• Maintain organized case files and monitor deadlines to ensure timely handling of all matters.
