Registered Nurse

This position involves working in a medical unit for 13 weeks. The shift is for 12 hours during the day. The schedule includes 36 hours per week. Weekends are required every other week. Holidays are required every other and as needed. The patient population includes cardiovascular, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, substance abuse, and medical diagnoses with underlying psychiatric disorders. The unit consists of 38 beds, with an RN to patient ratio of 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights and weekends. The Patient Care Technician to patient ratio is 1:10.
