Job Overview Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Resource Coordinator. Salary range: $69,000 - $101,000 per year. Salary is a general guideline. It is based on candidate skills, experience, qualifications, and market considerations. What you’ll do Eaton’s Engineering Service & Systems Division assists customers at every stage of the power system: start‑up and commissioning, planned maintenance, performance monitoring, remote diagnosis, and emergency response on a 24/7 basis, 365 days a year. Our support services help businesses optimize performance and extend the life of electrical equipment. The Resource Coordinator is pivotal to the District Operations Center’s success. Work with internal and external stakeholders to understand job details, coordinate staffing, manage customer entrance requirements, order materials and test equipment, and manage time entry. Responsibilities Plan field service resources within Salesforce. Review Salesforce time entry and manage unassigned time, assigning purchase orders to jobs as they are received. Update job schedules for customer changes, emergency work, and schedule changes. Schedule warranty, emergency, and productive jobs. Obtain necessary test equipment and materials based on job requirements. Ensure District Operations Center and/or Eaton employees on‑site meet customer entrance requirements, including coordination of required trainings, background checks, and drug screenings. Field emergency customer calls to gather critical information and pass it to the appropriate parties for action. Provide clear project details and customer expectations on work to be performed. Complete work order requirements and update when orders can be invoiced. Participate in backlog meeting reviews. Maintain strong communication with sales engineers, Sales, and customers. Handle administrative tasks of the District Operations Center — shipping and receiving, ordering test equipment or materials needed at job sites. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum 3+ years of experience with customer service, scheduling, planning, or project coordination in a manufacturing or service environment. No immigration sponsorship or relocation is offered. Candidates must reside within 50 miles of Louisville, KY unless exempt for active duty military. Preferred Qualifications Associate’s degree from an accredited institution. Knowledge of power distribution, control products, field service practices and procedures, employee relations, and quality programs. Skills Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds. Strong computer skills. Strong communication skills. Position Criteria Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds.
