Job Title: ED RN Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Department Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10:00 - 22:00 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS ACLS PALS TNCC Must-Have: High caliber patient experience skills Description: This position is for an Emergency Department RN. The role involves working in the Main ED and PBED. Candidates must be available to start as soon as possible. Time off cannot be approved from mid-June to July. Candidates should have the willingness to occasionally work varying day to mid-shift hours (i.e. 6 AM, 9 AM, 10 AM, 11 AM). The unit features a 37-bed ER with L2 Trauma capability. There are a total of 73 FTE staff members. Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 7 RNs, 2 Techs/Paramedics on day shift, and similar arrangements on the night shift. Patient ratios are 1:4 in designated zones. The unit utilizes GE monitors and EMR systems. Candidates should possess high energy, self-motivation, and an amicable personality. Typical procedures performed in the unit may include various emergency interventions. Weekend shifts are required, with 4 shifts in a 4-week period. There is no on-call requirement for this position.
