Staff Accountant I
Virtual Vocations Inc
To support day-to-day accounts receivable and tax functions, the full-time Staff Accountant I will manage collections, customer billing support, and ensure compliance with sales tax and VAT requirements, while working remotely with occasional travel to the corporate office in Dallas-Fort Worth. Key responsibilities Manage the collections process and monitor customer aging reports to ensure timely payments Handle customer inquiries and account setup, coordinating with Sales and Customer Success to resolve issues Maintain sales tax compliance by managing exemption certificates and preparing tax reconciliations and filings Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field 1-3 years of accounting or accounts receivable experience Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and basic knowledge of sales tax and VAT compliance Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and data analysis
