Job Description

As a Security Officer - Full Time - Evenings in Cleveland OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location where you will conduct routine patrols remain highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents and support a professional environment through strong customer service and this role you will embody our agile reliable and innovative values while working with integrity and teamwork to serve people first at a dynamic public-facing facility.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and vendors by following site-specific procedures access protocols and emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting details and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or supervisors.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas entry points and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials visitor logs and deliveries in accordance with post instructions helping to support authorized entry and orderly operations.
• Support security-related operations during routine activities and/or emergency situations by communicating clearly with site personnel the public and first responders when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
