We are currently seeking a licensed and experienced Spiritual Counselor to join our team. Position Overview As a Spiritual Counselor at Luna Del Valle Hospice, you will play a vital role in providing spiritual care and support to our patients and their families during their end-of-life journey. We are looking for candidates who have a Masters in Divinity (Or Equivalent) with experience in end-of-life care and a compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care. Responsibilities Provide spiritual guidance, counseling, and support to patients and families to help them find peace and comfort during their end-of-life journey. Conduct spiritual assessments and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans that address the spiritual needs of patients. Offer pastoral care, prayer, and rituals in alignment with patients' beliefs and traditions. Facilitate discussions on end-of-life wishes, meaning-making, and legacy work. Provide support and education to staff and volunteers on spiritual care practices and cultural competence. Qualifications Masters Degree in Divinity, or Equivalent. Experience as a Spiritual Counselor in end-of-life care or hospice settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
