Job Description
Join an Emergency Department team as a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment working 12-hour evening/night shifts (3:00 PM - 3:00 AM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week. The ER RN will provide rapid assessment, emergency interventions, and comprehensive patient care for individuals presenting with a wide variety of acute illnesses, injuries, and medical emergencies. This role requires strong critical thinking skills, emergency nursing expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

Minimum 3 years of Emergency Room (ER) experience required

Active Illinois RN License required

AHA BLS Certification required

AHA ACLS Certification required

AHA PALS Certification required

TNCC Certification preferred but not required

Candidates must reside outside the facility's 50-mile local radius restriction

Current ER Skills Checklist completed within the last year required

Two supervisory references with employment dates required

Strong emergency assessment and triage skills required

Ability to manage multiple high-acuity patients in a fast-paced environment required

Weekend coverage required (typically 4 weekend days within an 8-week schedule)

No call requirements
