FORKLIFT OPERATOR

Warehouse AssociateRequirements:Must have experience using forklift equipment.Previous warehouse experience required.Ability to stand/walk for an 8 -12-hour shift.Ability to lift and/or carry 50 lbs.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work independently.Basic math skills.Job Duties:Picking sorting and making customer orders ready for shipment to customer locations.Maintaining accurate case counts at all times.Load/unload product from carriers.Loading finished packages onto pallets/skids utilizing correct stack pattern.Moving pallets with upright and counterbalance forklifts.Shrink wrapping pallets utilizing shrink wrap machine and/or manual wrap.Inspecting pallets insuring they are up to spec and appropriate for shipments.Cleaning work areas and/or maintaining cleanliness of work areas and equipment.Keeping work areas organized.Keeping fork trucks operating by following operating instructions, performing limited preventive maintenance, advising management when there is a problem that requires vendor repair and/or safety lockout.Manual movement of materials as required.Counting for inventory as required.Other duties as required should there be a business need which may fall under the purview of other logistics personnel job duty descriptions.
