Structural Welder (Flux-Core) - Full Time Join a growing team! We are currently seeking experienced Structural Welders to join our expanding fabrication shop in Cocoa, FL. Due to continued growth, our facility has recently doubled in size, adding new welding machines, upgraded metal fabrication equipment, and creating significant opportunities for internal advancement. Job Responsibilities Perform Flux-Core welding using 1/16" wire on carbon steel Weld large structural components according to specifications and quality standards Read and interpret basic welding prints and drawings Perform basic fit-up and material preparation when required Inspect completed welds for accuracy and quality Maintain a safe and productive work environment Projects You'll Work On Our team fabricates large structural steel components used in: High-rise building construction Aerospace and launch pad infrastructure Heavy support structures Large-scale commercial and industrial projects Qualifications Previous Flux-Core welding experience required Experience welding carbon steel Ability to read basic weld prints and blueprints Basic fit-up experience preferred Ability to work in a fast-paced fabrication environment Strong attention to quality and safety What We Offer Competitive pay: $24-$32/hr based on experience Additional $3/hr shift differential Consistent overtime available, including Saturdays Recently expanded facility with modern equipment New welding machines and fabrication technology Long-term career stability Opportunities for advancement and internal growth If you're a skilled welder looking to work on large-scale projects in a modern, growing fabrication shop, apply today and become part of a team building critical structures for some of the nation's most impressive construction and aerospace projects. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cocoa, FL. The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
