Role OverviewWe are looking for a talented freelance Food Stylist to support upcoming product photo and video shoots.
This is a contract-based role , engaged on a per-shoot basis. You will play a key role in translating product into compelling, high-impact visuals.
What You’ll Do- Style food for product photography and video shoots (e-commerce, social, campaigns)
- Prepare and present food to look fresh, elevated, and camera-ready
- Source and manage props, surfaces, and styling elements
- Maintain consistency across shots while adapting to different creative needs
- Work efficiently on set to meet production timelines
- Proven experience as a food stylist (portfolio required)
- Strong understanding of lighting, composition, and camera interaction
- Experience styling prepared or packaged foods to look premium and craveable
- Aesthetic aligned with modern, clean, lifestyle-driven brands
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Based in or able to work in Los Angeles / Orange County
- Experience with Asian cuisine or global food brands
- Existing network of photographers, prop stylists, or studios
- Ability to assist with light food prep or on-set adjustments
- Shoots scheduled as needed (launch, campaigns, seasonal content)
- Half-day or full-day bookings depending on scope
- Competitive freelance rate based on experience
