Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer in a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage incidents, and support security-related operations through strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will be part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first, works together, and acts with integrity every day.

Pay Rate: $13.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, noting unusual activity and/or conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry, and help to deter unauthorized access to shipping, receiving, and other restricted areas.
• Support daily logistics and distribution operations by observing vehicle, trailer, and/or pedestrian traffic, reporting security-related concerns, and following post instructions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
