Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1890 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred.

• BSN completion preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Qualivis Program - University of Virginia and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - University of Virginia.

Additional Details:

Required Credentials: Any hit on your license must be disclosed. Hits will be sent to UVA leadership for approval prior to proceeding.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Peritoneal dialysis preferred. Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Teaching hospital experience is preferred. Community hospital experience is preferred.

Unit Details: Adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population. Receives patients from the Emergency Department, Medical ICU, clinics, outside hospitals, and nursing facilities. Cares for a wide range of medical diagnoses, including diabetes, sickle cell crisis, COPD exacerbations, ESRD with pulmonary hypertension, and patients with wounds, drains, and tubes. Interdisciplinary rounding with the physician, RN, social work, case management, and pharmacy.

Shift & Scheduling: Flexible contract hours: 36 or 48 per week. Every other weekend and every other holiday.

Special Requests: Up to 40 hours of time off may be approved. Travelers are not eligible to return after reaching 365 total assignment days, regardless of time away.
