Radiation Oncology Physician – Beckley, WV

- Start Date: 11/02/2026
- End Date: 11/01/2027
- Shift: Day shift, 3 weeks on / 1 week off, or 2 weeks per month
- Hours/Week: Full-time (approx. 40 hours/week)
- Employment Type: Contract/Locum
- License/Certifications: WV license, Board Certification in Radiation Oncology, DEA, BLS, ACLS, HDR experience
- Experience Needed: Prior radiation oncology experience, willingness to obtain licensure
- Hourly Rate: $331.50/hour (plus applicable overtime & holiday pay)

- Provide expert radiation therapy services to adult cancer patients in a well-equipped cancer center
- Support staff including rad techs, APPs, and RNs
- Administer HDR radiation treatments and manage patient care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment protocols
- Document patient interactions accurately within Cerner EMR system
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary
Required:
- Board Certification in Radiation Oncology
- West Virginia medical license or the ability to obtain one
- DEA license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with HDR procedures
- Experience supporting a high patient volume in a cancer treatment setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
