Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct therapeutic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for families and individuals.

• Facilitate couple and family therapy sessions, addressing issues such as communication difficulties, conflict resolution, and grief.

• Provide support for various family dynamics, including blended families, separation, and parent-child conflicts.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies to guide sessions, ensuring effective treatment outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to collaborate with colleagues on complex cases.

• Engage with community resources to enhance patient care and provide comprehensive support.

• Monitor and evaluate client progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work as an LMFT will involve a diverse client population, including adults, adolescents, and families facing challenges such as alcohol and substance abuse, grief and loss, job-related stress, and family conflicts. You will specialize in working with the entire family unit, creating a safe and supportive environment where all members are encouraged to express their feelings and collaboratively seek solutions.

Qualifications\n

• Active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

• Prior experience in a clinical setting, particularly within family systems.
