Laboratory Outreach Coordinator

Overview Placement Type: Temporary Salary: $45-55 Hourly Start Date: Sep 8, 2026 Schedule: 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM Aquent is partnering with a major Healthcare company to find a Reference Lab Outreach Customer Success Specialist for a Temp-to-Perm opportunity. This role serves as the vital bridge between external healthcare clients, internal lab teams, billing, and courier operations to ensure seamless laboratory outreach services. It offers an exciting chance to drive client satisfaction, optimize operational workflows, and support strategic growth initiatives for a premier medical reference laboratory. To be considered for this role, you must: Be authorized to work in the United States Not require sponsorship of any kind for the duration of the assignment Be able to work on a W-2 basis (C2C or 1099 is not permitted for this position) Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, proactively managing account needs and coordinating timely issue resolution across cross-functional teams. Provide continuous outreach customer training and education regarding specimen collection requirements, ordering workflows, and laboratory compliance standards. Oversee and manage customer courier operations, including tracking service requests, resolving route or pickup concerns, and auditing vendor invoices for accurate cost allocation. Support strategic business growth by assisting with marketing initiatives, tracking campaign leads, and executing semi-annual customer satisfaction surveys. Prepare and present clear, professional operational summaries, client feedback reports, and escalation updates for executive leadership. Coordinate client supply request fulfillment and oversee the secure, timely distribution of printed test requisitions and test results. Requirements & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline from an accredited college or university. 2 to 5 years of experience in client-facing roles interacting with customers, healthcare providers, or patients. Demonstrated intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and an aptitude for learning new software systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to maintain composure and present to executive-level stakeholders. Proven organizational and critical-thinking skills to independently prioritize changing tasks in a dynamic environment. Ability to work on-site in Newark, California as part of a hybrid schedule. Preferred Qualifications Direct experience in customer relationship management (CRM), account management, or client-facing service coordination within a healthcare or laboratory setting. Background in supporting marketing campaigns, outreach engagement initiatives, or business expansion plans. The target hiring compensation range for this role is $45-$55/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.
