• Job Title: Physician – Anesthesiology • Job Type: Locum Tenens • Location: Potsdam, NY • Service Setting: Inpatient / Acute Care Hospital • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call • Coverage Period: 10/19/2026 – Ongoing as needed • Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM • Weekday Call: 3:00 PM – 7:00 AM • Weekend Call: Friday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM COVERAGE DATES • 10/19/2026 – 10/23/2026: No weekday call • 11/05/2026 – 11/13/2026: Weekend call 11/06–11/08; weekday call 11/10 and 11/12• 12/21/2026 – 12/30/2026: Holiday call 12/24–12/27 PATIENT INFORMATION • Patient Demographics: Adults and surgical patients • Patient Volume/Census: Approximately 10–15 patients • Case Mix: Inpatient, OB, epidurals, general anesthesia, and scheduled surgeries • Additional Duties: May involve CRNA supervision FACILITY INFORMATION • Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital • Trauma Level: Adult III/IV • EMR System: Epic • Practice Environment: Rural, critical access setting • Reason for Coverage: Locum coverage PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE • Hospital Privileges Required: Yes • Emergency Privileges: Required/available • New York License: Must be in hand REQUIRED PROCEDURES • General Anesthesia • Obstetric Anesthesia • Epidurals • Inpatient Anesthesia • Scheduled Surgical Procedures • CRNA Supervision, as applicable JOB REQUIREMENTS • License: New York license in hand required • Board: Board Certified preferred; Board Eligible considered • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required • Certification Format: AHA or RQI certifications accepted • EMR: Epic experience required • Experience: Rural/critical access experience preferred • Residents/Fellows: Not accepted DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES • Provide anesthesia services for inpatient and surgical cases • Provide OB anesthesia and epidural services • Perform general anesthesia for scheduled procedures • Provide anesthesia coverage in a rural, critical access setting • Supervise CRNAs when applicable • Participate in weekday, weekend, and holiday call coverage • Document patient care and anesthesia services in Epic
