Delivery Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $17.13 - $23.50 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the applicable minimum wage. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance, or premiums per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met. Essentials Job Functions Operate company vehicles to deliver parts and products to customers safely and efficiently. Use delivery fleet management hand‑held devices to process deliveries, capture customer signatures, update vehicle mileage, and complete daily vehicle inspections. Keep vehicles clean, maintain them, and perform daily vehicle inspections before operating. Secure delivery vehicles, keys, fuel/fleet credit cards, hand‑held devices, and collected monies at all times. Pick up customer returns (new, warranty, cores, etc.) and complete driver return slips. Communicate any customer problems or special needs to store management. Report vehicle maintenance needs, accidents, or damage to the store manager immediately. Ensure fuel tanks are filled, lock and secure the vehicle at the end of the day, and clock in/out according to company policy. Assist with additional tasks as assigned, including customer service, sweeping, general stocking, merchandising, running errands, handling core returns, checking in stock orders, and occasionally customer cashier duties. Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, and Abilities Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to adapt quickly to changing delivery situations. Valid state driver’s license and a driving record that meets the company’s 14/18‑point system. Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired). Familiarity with automotive parts. Ability to operate light store equipment. Bilingual candidates encouraged.
