We have been engaged by a full service Investment Bank that is looking to add a few Healthcare Investment Banking MDs with an established book of business. They currently have a presence is all sectors of Healthcare, including Healthcare Services, BioTech, MedTech and Life Sciences Tools and Diagnostic. The areas they are looking to expand in are Biotech and HC IT. This firm is targeting MDs from a bulge bracket background, niche sector expertise and a track record of revenue generation over $5mn or so at least the past three years. This is a full-service Investment Bank with M&A and Capital Market products. You will have every resource needed to be a productive Banker. What are people saying about this company?

- Work along side the Investment Banking and M&A/ECM teams
- Source, qualify and chase opportunities to generate revenue
- Originate deals and client engagement using outbound and inbound leads
- Focus on Business Development, originate Biotech M&A/ECM or Capital Raising deals
- Generate and qualify new prospecting leads
- Conduct research, stay up to date on BioTech market trends and M&A activity
- Supervise Financial Models and Transaction work by juniors
- BA/BS with a major in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field, MBA is preferred, along with other advanced degrees in Life Sciences, (PhD, MD or MS)
- Anywhere between 10 – 15 yrs of combined work experience in Healthcare Investment Banking, M&A Advisory and or Corporate Development (preferred sector expertise in Healthcare & Life Sciences)
- Preference is ideally over 12 years of full service Investment Banking exp, 3 years as an MD
- Experienced in originating and executing deals of $500mn to multi billion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in excel and PowerPoint
- Strong interpersonal, communications, listening skills and business acumen
- Be a leader on the Biotech team
- Book of business, generating north of ~$5mn or so on a yearly basis
- Self motivated, strong drive and worth ethic
- Experience in building and leading teams
- Relevant Investment Banking licenses – Series 79, Series 63, Series 7
