Their primary sectors of interest are within the Tech Enabled businesses, ranging from FinTech, HC IT to Legal Tech, Compliance and B2B Software. They are looking for specialist Investment Bankers with an established book of business, a true right to win and ambitions to be a part of a growing group. Location: New York, NY (on-site) Compensation: $175,000 to $200,000 +30%Overview: We are seeking an experienced Managing Director to lead client coverage and execution within our Technology Services Investment Banking group. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of originating and executing sell-side M&A transactions, with a particular focus on high-growth, tech-enabled services and software businesses. This individual will be responsible for managing client relationships, leading deal teams, and generating approximately $5 million in annual advisory fees through successful transaction execution.Key Responsibilities:

• Originate and execute sell-side M&A mandates within the Technology Services sector, including IT services, managed services, digital transformation, and tech-enabled outsourcing.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with founders, CEOs, private equity sponsors, and strategic buyers in the sector.
• Drive all phases of the M&A process — from pitching and mandate origination to negotiation and closing.
• Provide strategic advice to clients on valuation, market positioning, and transaction structuring.
• Collaborate with internal product and sector specialists to deliver tailored, high-quality advisory solutions.
• Manage, mentor, and develop Vice Presidents, Associates, and Analysts on live deals and pitches.
• Contribute to the firm’s broader business development strategy, thought leadership, and brand presence in the Technology Services ecosystem.Qualifications:
• 10–15+ years of experience in investment banking with a focus on Technology Services or related subsectors (IT services, cloud, MSPs, BPO, consulting, etc.).
• Demonstrated track record of originating and closing transactions, generating at least $5 million in annual advisory fees.
• Strong network of industry contacts among strategic buyers and financial sponsors.
• Deep understanding of sector trends, valuation drivers, and competitive dynamics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and client management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA, CFA, or equivalent a plus.
