Responsibilities Clean bars, work areas, and tables. Take beverage orders from serving staff or directly from patrons. Mix and pour drinks as well as take food orders. Clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment. Attempt to limit problems and liability related to customers' excessive drinking by persuading them to stop drinking or arranging transportation for intoxicated patrons. Collect money for drinks served. Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol. Perform other duties, projects, and tasks as assigned by the employee’s manager. Qualifications Must have exceptional oral and written communication skills. Must be dependable. At least one year of previous bartender experience. Knowledge of food and beverage products, and proper preparation and presentation of food and beverage items. Must be able to provide an excellent guest experience. Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
