Job Description
Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Cardiac Imaging

Schedule
Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday (some procedures may run through 4:30 PM EST)
No on-call or weekend shifts.

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements
- 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience
- 6 months of Cardiac Imaging experience
- New York State Radiation Technician License
- NMTCB or ARRT(N) certification preferred
- BLS certification

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform advanced nuclear cardiology studies (SPECT, SPECT/CT, PET/CT) with precision and clinical expertise.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care by explaining procedures, ensuring comfort, and maintaining safety.
- Acquire and process diagnostic images, conduct daily quality control, and manage radio pharmacy operations in compliance with relevant guidelines.
- Document patient data in the electronic record system while ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards.
- Collaborate with the Director of Nuclear Cardiology and colleagues to implement new technologies and improve lab protocols.
- Uphold integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence in every aspect of work.
