DayTimeSat07:30 PM - 07:30 AMSun07:30 PM - 07:30 AMWhat You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout offices, public-facing areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entrances, screening points, and/or restricted areas, verify access permissions when required, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.
- Support daily operations by providing directions and assistance, maintaining a visible presence, and completing required reports related to security-related activities and site events.
Minimum Requirements:
- An armed guard card/license is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- A guard card/license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
