Industrial Motor Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, inspect, and reassemble industrial equipment and components with precision and attention to detail.

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and basic electrical issues on motors, pumps, and related industrial equipment.

• Repair and rebuild industrial components, ensuring reliable performance and adherence to quality standards.

• Read and interpret technical documentation, including schematics, plans, and operating manuals, to guide repair and assembly work.

• Perform mechanical assembly and fitting of parts, fluid lines, and pipes according to specifications.

• Support electrical work and basic wiring tasks, including pulling wire and working with components, switches, and control centers.

• Conduct quality inspections on completed repairs and assemblies to verify proper operation and safety.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate findings, repair plans, and status updates clearly and professionally.

• Operate company tools, equipment, and service vehicles (as applicable) in a safe and responsible manner.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area while working effectively in shop and field environments.

Work Environment

• This position follows a standard daytime schedule, typically 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.

• The role involves frequent walking, standing, sitting, bending, driving, reading, and communicating throughout the workday.

• You will work in various environments and conditions, including shop and field locations.

• The shop can be dirty and is not always climate controlled, so comfort working in non-pristine and varying temperature conditions is important.

• Appropriate work attire should be practical and suitable for industrial settings, with a focus on safety and durability.

This is a Permanent position based out of Indianapolis, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
