Firepower Rehab & Therapy Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient clinic located in Sacramento, California. Work Environment

Our clinic offers an onsite work setting that fosters teamwork and communication among professionals. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of patients using a range of tests, including but not limited to muscle strength, range of motion, and functional movement assessments to identify impairments and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Create and implement customized treatment plans that are informed by patient evaluations and physician recommendations, adapting them based on ongoing assessments and patient progress.
• Administer direct patient care utilizing various physical therapy techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout.
• Provide comprehensive education to patients, their families, and caregivers regarding self-care strategies, therapeutic exercises, and home programs to promote continued recovery outside of the therapy setting.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to offer consultative services regarding patients' physical function, therapeutic interventions, and adaptive equipment needs.
• Supervise and guide the treatment provided by support personnel, maintaining high standards of patient care and ensuring comprehensive support for therapy plans.

Qualifications

• Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.

• A clean record with no instances of board actions or disciplinary measures against the license.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based physical therapy practices.
• Proficient in developing and executing individualized exercise regimens catered to the needs and goals of each patient.

Preferred Experience

Experience with advanced rehabilitation modalities and techniques is a valuable asset. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a commitment to professional development through continuing education are highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits

The competitive salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
