Work Environment

This position will be conducted onsite at our Sacramento office, where you will collaborate with a dedicated team of two physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our clinic promotes a supportive atmosphere that encourages professional growth and shared learning. Your work hours will be Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life structure while contributing to impactful patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to identify their goals, limitations, and specific needs, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage a patient caseload, providing one-on-one therapy sessions to ensure personalized care and attention.
• Implement effective rehabilitation strategies while offering alternative treatment options that reduce dependence on medications or surgical interventions.
• Design and facilitate tailored fitness and wellness programs, focusing on the enhancement of strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and exercise protocols based on best practices to improve patient outcomes.
• Document treatment services accurately and maintain comprehensive records per organizational standards and compliance guidelines.
• Assess treatment progress regularly and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery trajectories for patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to foster a holistic approach to patient management.
• Motivate and educate patients about their conditions and rehabilitation processes to empower them in their recovery journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population consists primarily of individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. We focus on delivering rehabilitation services that accommodate various athletic abilities and mobility levels. Our comprehensive approach takes into account each patient's unique circumstances, enabling us to support their recovery journey effectively. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in California.
• Proven experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, demonstrating a strong understanding of treatment methodologies.
• Excellent proficiency in manual therapy techniques and developing individualized exercise protocols to enhance patient recovery.
• Ability to accurately use electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced orthopedic outpatient environment is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practice and the latest trends in physical therapy and rehabilitation sciences.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare team members.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
