HR Generalist

HR Generalist Job Overview We are looking for a dynamic HR Generalist to join our Compression Flow Technologies Business Unit in Enon, OH or Burbank, CA. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our HR leadership to drive HR initiatives, supporting both salaried and hourly employees. You will play a key role in shaping the employee experience and will have the opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects. Responsibilities Recruitment: manages onboarding process including pre-employment testing, new hire paperwork, orientation, HRIS entry HRIS: Maintains SuccessFactors HRIS employee database and files. Communication/Training: Deploys HR plans, processes, programs and policies aligned with business objectives, including organizational design, succession planning, talent management/acquisition, goal alignment/performance management, employee engagement and communications Partnership: Collaborates with local HR business partners to share best practices, critical needs issues, and local site and sector initiatives. Benefits: Assists employees with benefits issues, annual open enrollment process, wellness on-site annual screenings Safety: Ensures EHS compliance requirements are met, including submission of Worker's Comp claims; assists in identifying safety training needs and ensuring response programs are in place Employee Relations: Works closely with leadership, HR Business Partners and employees to improve work relationships, build positive engagement, and increase productivity and retention; acts as employee advocate; coaches, counsels and influences; monitors employee climate and proposes solutions; drives cultural transformation; counsels on policies and procedures; participates in performance improvement processes Other responsibilities as assigned or required Qualifications Bachelor's degree 2+ years of experience in Human Resources Core Competencies Self-motivated and reliable, able to work independently, prioritize, and collaborate effectively within HR and business teams Preferences Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field SHRM-CP or SCP is a plus SAP SuccessFactors experience preferred Sound judgment and problem solving ability with strong relationship-building skills Expertise in employee relations Excellent communication skills Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements This position will be on-site based in Enon, OH or Burbank, CA, with minimal anticipated travel.
