Mid-level Civil Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a candidate to fill a full‑time Mid‑Level Design Engineer position in Dallas, Texas . The successful candidate will possess a can‑do attitude, have a passion for and take pride in their work, be a creative thinker, and be willing to collaborate while also being able to work independently. Mid‑Level Design Engineer Essential Functions Develop engineering designs for projects from preliminary concepts through final design. Prepare specifications, cost estimates, and final bid packages. Coordinate with client technical staff and project managers throughout project delivery. Support both design‑bid‑build and design‑build project execution. Mentor junior engineers in the development of final design and construction plans. Coordinate design activities and meetings among design staff, subcontractors, and client managers. Contribute to project decisions related to technical approaches, cost, and schedule performance. Participate in professional organizations and industry‑related activities. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license 4–9 years of relevant engineering design experience Preferred Qualifications Experience working with state or local DOTs Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D Core Skills Engineering design and plan development Specifications and cost estimating Client and stakeholder coordination Project scheduling and technical decision‑making Mentorship and team collaboration Design‑bid‑build and design‑build project support Why Join LJB?
