The Role

As a Principal Consultant in our Commercial, you will help customers bring treatments to patients faster by transforming how they work with technology, data, and AI. You will focus on reshaping operating models, driving organizational change, and measuring tangible business value.

Some of our key areas of focus include:

1. Vault CRM migrations & implementations
2. Activating Veeva’s standards agents in Vault CRM
3. Identifying future customer engagement capabilities needed and the path to transformation
4. Transforming and modernizing the way HCP engagement is planned and executed
5. Optimizing field force direction, productivity, and effectiveness
6. Defining the strategy and execution to realize account‑based engagement
7. Accelerating launch through a data‑driven approach

What You’ll Do

• Project Mastery: Act as the Lead for Veeva BC’s largest and most complex global projects, maintaining full accountability for excellence across multiple teams
• Strategic Growth: Lead and own Business Development for the Commercial Practice focusing on architecting and winning key deals exceeding $1M+
• People Leadership: Manage and mentor high‑performing consulting teams, taking responsibility for the professional growth and delivery standards of the practice
• Thought Leadership: Develop and champion industry‑leading thought leadership in Commercial & Customer to keep Veeva at the cutting edge of Life Sciences
• Customer Success: Serve as a trusted advisor to C‑suite stakeholders, leveraging Veeva’s data and software to solve their most critical challenges

Requirements

• Experience: 10+ years of Life Sciences Consulting experience (Management Consulting preferred)
• Track Record: Proven ability to win and deliver $1M+ consulting engagements
• Expertise: Deep domain knowledge in customer engagement strategy, sales and commercial operations, omnichannel, marketing excellence, key account management, and/or medical affairs are preferred and a comprehensive understanding of the Life Sciences landscape
• Leadership: Extensive experience managing multiple project teams and senior‑level customer relationships
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher

Compensation

• Base pay: $120,000 - $250,000
• The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer based on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
