HR Generalist

JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as a first point of contact for employee questionsregardingHR policies, procedures, and benefits Support investigations related to employee relations, attendance, performance, and conduct Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful workplace culture Assistwith conflict resolution and corrective action processes Support recruiting efforts including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and offer processing Coordinate new hire onboarding, orientation, and documentation Ensure compliance with I-9, E-Verify, and background check processes Maintainaccurate employee records in HRIS systems Process personnel actions including hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations Assistwith benefits administration, open enrollment, and employee inquiries Support payroll processing and timekeeping audits Assistleaders with performance reviews, goal setting, and coaching conversations Support training initiatives and employee development programs Track and report HR metrics and trends Participate in HR initiatives such as engagement surveys, retention strategies, and process improvements Support change management and organizational development efforts Coordinates and administers employee activities related to plant welfare such asspecial events, employee outings, etc. Performs clerical duties, including typing, scheduling, and general record keeping duties. Provides other duties or projectsdeemednecessary by the Human Resources Manager. Approves vacation,PLARandLOA. Administers policiesin accordance withAdient standards of operating procedures.
