TheMedical Director, Dermatology Medical Affairs will contribute/ lead the advancement ofprotocol development, medical/ data monitoring, study operations, data analysis/reporting, writing of study reports and publications, as applicable. In addition, theMedical Director, Dermatology Medical Affairs will partner with colleagues in real-worldevidence, health economic and outcomes research, biostatistics, commercial, and field(medical/ commercial/ value and evidence) based teams through integrated evidenceteams and other touchpoints to formulate and execute activities in support of theDermatology TA strategy on marketed and/or pipeline products, as well as supportingthe fulfillment of medical information questions and issues that arise from the medical orcommercial field teams and internal/external customers in the Dermatology TA.You will be responsible for:Develop and execute Medical Affairs sponsored clinical programs, including butnot limited to Phase 3b/4 trials, registries, real-world evidence studies,investigator-initiated and/or collaborative studies in the Dermatology TA.Contribute/ lead study design, protocol development, clinical study report andpublication development. Work closely with the matrix clinical trial teams on studyoperations and provide program leadership and medical oversight.Provide Dermatology subject matter expertise and represent US medical affairson internal stakeholder/ project teams across multiple functional areas includingbut not limited to sales and marketing, health economics and outcomes research,value and evidence, field MSLs, medical communications and scientificProvide US medical affairs input and US stakeholder insights to R&D clinicaldevelopment programs, including clinical trial study designs, presentations, and publications.Support the fulfillment of medical information requests from field medical andfield commercial teams. Support/ lead the development of medical educationcontent for field medical team. Partner with medical communications andscientific exchange teams on content development, review, and approval.Identify new key opinion leaders (KOLs) and develop strong KOL collaborationson clinical trial development and medical affairs activities. Establish and fosterrelations with medical societies and patient advocacy organizations.Qualifications / Requirements:Advanced degree (e.g., PhD, PharmD, MD/DO, DNP, PA) is requiredA minimum of 8 years of combined relevant experience in academic clinical research, clinical practice, and/or pharmaceutical industry is requiredPharmaceutical industry experience is requiredMedical affairs experience is highly preferred Dermatology or immunology therapeutic area expertise is highly preferredExperience with clinical study, registry, or real-word evidence study and prior commercial/ medical launch experience are strongly preferredExcellent interpersonal and public speaking skills, and experience interacting with health care professionals and other thought leaders is essentialEvidence of strong scientific writing skills and analytical thinking is essentialStrong leadership, teaming and collaboration skills is essentialDemonstrated commitment to learning emerging technologies, such as AI, through exploration, iteration, and applying new tools over timeUp 25% travel (primarily domestic & limited international) is requiredThis position is located in Horsham, PA and follows a hybrid schedule of three days in the office and two days remotely per weekJohnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
