As a Field Insurance Agent, you will acquire the necessary knowledge to achieve licensing in Personal Lines, with all training and costs covered by AAA Northeast. Once licensed, you will sell personal lines insurance products to members who contact us over the phone, online, and in retail branches.What you will do:Insurance Sales Responsibilities: • Sell insurance products and services, meeting or exceeding sales goals • Interact with members in person at the branch, over the phone and online • Compile coverage and rating information; confirm insurer underwriting criteria, coverage, and premium data • Provide members with product and premium proposals that best fit their needs • Develop leads and prospects by responding to referrals in a timely manner • Participate in sales programs and maintain prospect files in the CRM system • Develop general knowledge of Life products for referrals to licensed agentsRegulatory & Compliance Responsibilities: • Develop familiarity with various insurance carrier products, services, technology and processes • Follow agency processes and procedures in quoting and binding coverage, and processing member payments • Work with Quality Assurance and Underwriting departments to minimize error and omission exposures • Gain general knowledge of insurance practices, including the scope of an agent's authorityMember Service Responsibilities: • Provide AAA Five Diamond service to all current and prospective AAA Insurance clients • Services new Insurance accounts by processing payments, researching underwriting criteria and acting as liaison with Insurance Companies • Build professional relationships with clients, insurance company representatives, dealerships, real estate agents, etc., to ensure success of AAA Insurance and to broaden community knowledge of AAA Insurance products and services • Gain knowledge of the AAA Northeast membership and its benefits to be able to offer and sell to clientsWhat You Will NeedHigh School Diploma or GED required andAssociate's Degree preferred2+ years Sales or customer service experience required andInsurance sales experience preferredOutbound or cold-calling experience strongly preferredPersonal Lines Insurance License within 30 Days Required andLife License PreferredWhy AAA NortheastCareer Growth: With ongoing world-class training and proven career paths, you'll have the opportunity to develop expertise and advance your career within AAA Northeast.Trusted Legacy: With over 120 years of service excellence, we have a long track record of protecting our members as well as our employees and their families.Future-Focused: With new business offerings and increasing digital presence, we are focused on innovating for the future to sustain our success.What We OfferAward-Winning: We’ve been named as a Top Employer for the last 7 yearsHealth Coverage: Medical coverage with employer contributions covering up to 93% of the premium cost, plus dental and vision options.Retirement: 6% company match on 401(k) retirement plan contribution, with contributions fully vested and made every pay periodPaid Time off: 3 weeks’ vacation, 12 holidays, 8 sick days, 48 hours of volunteer time annuallyAdditional Perks: Free AAA membership, insurance discounts, travel commission refund, up to $625 in Wellness Incentives, up to $6k in tuition reimbursement, and more!Compensation: Competitive base pay, annual bonus opportunities, and for certain roles, additional monthly and/or quarterly incentive compensation.
