Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as an onsite Occupational Therapist supporting students throughout the 2026–2027 school year. This engaging position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across elementary, middle, and high school sites in the area, collaborating with dedicated educational professionals.

Three positions are available, each with a specific focus: a split role between Lancashire and Maple Lane Elementary, a placement at Mount Pleasant Elementary, and a split role covering both Middle and High School populations. You’ll work closely with students to help them develop skills necessary for academic and social success, all within a supportive and structured school environment.

Key qualifications:

• Active Delaware Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience in school settings highly preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a school caseload independently
• Prepared to complete necessary background requirements, including $85 CBC fingerprinting
• Must be able to work onsite; remote options are not available
• COTA applications cannot be considered for this role

Responsibilities will include:

• Providing direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their IEPs
• Developing and implementing individualized intervention plans
• Collaborating with teachers, families, and other service providers
• Maintaining accurate documentation for compliance and progress tracking
• Participating in IEP meetings and student support teams
• Promoting student independence and maximizing participation in the school environment

This role is full-time, Monday through Friday, 37.5 hours per week, following the academic calendar. As an onsite Occupational Therapist, you’ll have the satisfaction of helping children succeed while working in a collaborative setting.
