This contract position offers you the opportunity to work collaboratively with educators, support staff, and families as you help students reach key developmental milestones.

Your role will focus on supporting students across various schools with a range of needs—empowering them to achieve greater independence within their educational environments. Ideal candidates will bring enthusiasm, professional expertise, and a passion for fostering student growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Delaware Occupational Therapist license (required)
• Previous experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Demonstrated ability to adapt interventions for diverse student populations
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with teachers, staff, and families
• Willingness to undergo $85 CBC fingerprinting prior to start date (required)
• Candidates must be able to work onsite; supervision for COTA is not available

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative OT services as outlined in IEPs
• Assess students’ needs and develop targeted intervention plans
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support academic and functional success
• Maintain thorough documentation and participate in IEP meetings
• Split schedule between specified elementary, middle, and high school locations based on caseload assignment
