Duties Advise clients on renewable energy tax credit matters and federal tax planning issues Support mergers, acquisitions, and corporate transactional tax matters Assist with private equity‑related transactional tax analysis Draft, review, and negotiate transactional and tax‑related legal documents Conduct legal research involving federal tax regulations and compliance matters Collaborate with transactional teams on sophisticated corporate matters Analyze tax implications related to renewable energy investments and financing structures Support clients through transaction structuring and due diligence processes Maintain direct communication with attorneys and clients regarding ongoing matters Participate in complex tax planning and transactional strategy discussions Requirements 2–5 years of relevant tax experience Experience involving renewable energy tax credits preferred Experience with corporate transactions or private equity matters preferred Strong academic credentials required Excellent drafting and legal writing skills Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities Attention to detail and organizational efficiency Ability to work collaboratively within a sophisticated team environment Licensed to practice law in the state of residence or eligible to waive in Ability to maintain in‑office presence at least three business days per week Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Certifications Active member of the Bar in the state of residence Skills Federal and transactional tax knowledge Renewable energy tax credit experience Corporate and private equity transaction support Strong legal drafting and analytical abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and strategic issue analysis Ability to manage sophisticated tax matters efficiently Collaborative teamwork and client service orientation Culture & Firm Appeal This internationally respected law firm is recognized for its collaborative culture, sophisticated practice platform, and strong commitment to diversity and inclusion.
