HR Tech UX Researcher

Duration: 6+ months
Location: 100% Remote

The Senior UX Researcher will drive generative and evaluative research across Recruiter, Hiring Manager, and Candidate experiences within talent acquisition platforms. This role will influence product strategy for AI-augmented recruiting solutions by uncovering user needs, validating experiences, and improving trust, adoption, and usability across complex hiring workflows. The position partners closely with Product, Design, Engineering, and Talent Acquisition stakeholders to deliver actionable insights that shape product decisions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of UX research experience in enterprise Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) or HR technology environments.
• Experience researching AI-augmented products and documenting explainability challenges.
• Mixed-methods UX research expertise across interviews, surveys, card sorting, co-design, tree testing, and usability studies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute generative and evaluative research across Recruiter, Hiring Manager, and Candidate personas.
• Conduct discovery interviews, contextual inquiry, workflow observation, and shadowing with active Talent Acquisition teams.
• Design and facilitate usability studies for Recruiter Portal and Candidate Experience Portal products.
• Synthesize research findings into journey maps, personas, mental models, opportunity frameworks, and strategic recommendations.
• Research AI-driven capabilities including candidate triage, action prioritization, match-score trust, transparency, and adoption.
• Build and maintain a centralized research repository accessible across the Center of Excellence (CoE) team.
• Conduct longitudinal studies measuring recruiter behavioral change following product launches.
• Manage pilot programs and collect participant feedback for early-access product experiences.
