Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour, Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years required in an emergency room setting. License: Active New York Single State RN license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience required. - IV therapy skills including blood product administration and central line care. - Experience with cardiac monitoring and management of dysrhythmias. - Emergency care experience with both adult and pediatric patients. - Ability to float within skill set. Description: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients in the emergency department. Applicants must have experience with various emergency diagnoses and procedures. The RN will manage patient care in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely and effective interventions. Skills in IV administration, ventilator management, and triage are necessary. Nurses will adhere to isolation precautions and be proficient in trauma care. Weekend and holiday availability is required, with a rotation schedule in place. The nurse will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Candidates must have strong communication skills and the ability to manage critical situations. This role requires a commitment to professional development and adherence to facility protocols.
