At Aviata Health Group, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional, person-centered care through compassion, clinical excellence, and connection. As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at our skilled nursing facility, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents.

As a CNA, you will deliver direct care to our residents, prioritizing their wellbeing and ensuring they maintain their dignity and independence. Your responsibilities will include:

• Caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
• Aiding in daily tasks such as phone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication reminders
• Observing and reporting changes in residents' condition and status
• Conducting rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
• Assisting in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean up
• Providing companionship and conversation
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Completion of a state-approved CNA certified nursing assistant certification course
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to perform essential job duties
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation
