Receptionist, Short Term Housing

divh2Receptionist/h2pCAMBAs Short Term Housing Program (STHP) provides 35 units of congregate and transitional housing to PLWHA who are homeless or at serious risk of homelessness. There are 7 clients residing at CAMBAs congregate facility located at 27 Winthrop Street and 28 clients living in community apartments (15 families and 16 singles). Program staff will ensure that all apartments are in close proximity to public transportation and accessible to other amenities such as health care, shopping, laundry, and other necessary services. STHP housing program provides a model of service that addresses the interrelated problems of HIV and homelessness. Through a congregate residence at 27 Winthrop, and the apartments in the community, we provide transitional housing, case management support, and housing readiness training in a supportive environment, which will help clients develop the skills to find and maintain permanent, stable housing./ppThe Receptionist/Office Manager will be responsible for handling in-coming calls from providers, welcome new clients and connect them with appropriate staff, prepare purchase request for program and office related purchases, maintain an inventory of items purchased, communicate with CAMBAs purchasing department and vendors to monitor delivery, etc. In addition, this staff will be responsible for scheduling Residential Aides and/or Security Guards to maintain 24 hours coverage in the congregate facility. Could assist with collecting client documents and data entry of client information and services into eSHARE. This includes all demographic information, services provided to clients and Primary Care Status Measures./ppEnsure that vacant rooms in congregate have the items necessary to receive new clients./ppComplete monthly utility bills/ppTake or deliver messages or transfer calls to voicemail when appropriate personnel are unavailable./ppAnswer questions about organization and provide callers with address, directions, and other information./ppWelcome onsite visitors, determine nature of business, and announce visitors to appropriate personnel./ppMonitor visitor access and issues passes when required./ppUpdate appointment calendars./ppReceive, sort, and route mail, and maintain and route publications./ppMaintain fax and copy machines, assist users, send faxes, and retrieve and route incoming faxes./ppMaintain the professional appearance of the receptionists area./ppCreate and print fax cover sheets, memo, correspondence, report, program marketing materials, and other document when necessary./ppPerform other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating./ppPrepare and sort source documents and identify and prepare data to be entered./ppContact preparers of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data./ppCould assist completing rent logs./ppOther duties as assigned./ppMinimum Education/Experience Required:/pulliSufficient education and technical expertise to comprehend written and oral instructions (work orders); basic math to accomplish maintenance tasks and to document accomplished tasks./liliTwo (2) years of relevant work experience, preferably in a mid-sized (250+ employees) organization./liliBasic analytical math skills./liliGood written verbal communication, and interpersonal skills./liliProficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel./liliComputer literacy in other Microsoft Office Suite products./li/ulpPreferred Requirements:/pulliBilingual in Spanish/li/ulpCompensation: $45,645.60 annually/ppFull-time (35 hours per week) Benefits: CAMBA offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, 403(b) retirement plan with employer match, paid time off (vacation, personal, and sick time), and paid holidays./ppCAMBA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
