Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 24 months of MRI experience and ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification.

Details

• Hospital-based MRI department serving ED, inpatient, and outpatient patient populations
• Choice of schedule: Monday-Friday 7a-8a start with 3:30p/4:30p end, or alternating 5x8s and 4x10s weekly, both 40 hrs/week
• On-call requirements include one weeknight (Sun-Thurs) and one weekend (Fri/Sat) every 10th weekend
• Uses Siemens and GE MRI equipment
• Performs power injection contrast injections
• EMR system is Epic
• May be required to float across multiple campuses including Iowa Methodist MC, Iowa Lutheran, and Iowa Methodist

Requirements

• Minimum of 24 months of MRI experience required
• ARRT (R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Strong experience and proficiency with Siemens equipment required
• Experience with GE MRI equipment highly preferred
• Level I trauma experience preferred; Level II trauma experience highly preferred
• Current or recent hospital experience highly preferred
• Epic or Epic Radiant experience highly preferred
• Travel experience preferred
• Professional reference from a supervisor, charge, manager, director, CNO, or COO within the last 24 months preferred
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Contractor required to work 1-2 of 3 upcoming Winter holidays unless the unit is closed
• Charcoal gray scrubs required
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN in the float pool) are ineligible to work travel assignments at any UnityPoint Health facility if employed within the past 12 months
