Facilities Technician, SrThe Facilities Technician monitors and maintains utilities and process equipment following standard procedures, requirements and safety policies. Follows well-defined instructions to maintain, troubleshoot and repair utilities and process equipment, while optimizing the utilization of Meggitt facilities.Job Core ResponsibilitiesPlans, organizes and prioritizes work activities and duties in order to maintain facilitiesInspects, repairs, replaces, services and maintains existing electromechanicalConducts electrical systems conduit runs, including light and power circuits, motors, control equipment, light fixtures and panelsUnderstands and follows safety procedures, maintenance instructions, manuals, blueprints, electrical schematics and assembly diagramsEnsures the safe usage and disposal of hazardous materials according to safety procedures and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS)Maintains necessary records/documents of work performedFollows all safety policy and proceduresOther responsibilities as assignedRegular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.
