The Sr Principal Test engineer is responsible for independently leading test and development for Marvell analog & Sipho products.What You Can ExpectLead test engineering solutions across all phases of NPI: new silicon bring-up, product sampling, qualification, characterization and high-volume manufacturing at OSATs. Ownership over all aspects of the test solution including software, tester equipment, PCBs, mechanical fixturing, probe hardware and sockets.In partnership with Product Engineering, drive test time reduction and yield improvements to meet manufacturing targetsImplement highly robust and automated test processes to guarantee product qualityWork with Design and Product Engineering to improve product test coverage at wafer-probe and package levelsWork with Operations and Planning to drive test station availability to support on time delivery according to the production backlogProvide necessary test engineering support for all customer returns working laterally with Quality engineering in a timely mannerManage subcon partners and drive NPI test development with a global OSAT teamWhat We're Looking ForQualifications:Bachelor or Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, or related field with a proven track record of test development for high-speed RF products that have moved into volume production10 years experience with RF/Mixed-Signal/Sipho IC test; specifically, in test engineering with focus on hardware and software design, yield improvement, test time reduction and manufacturing process improvementsSkilled in software automation for semiconductor test using bench instruments (GPIB/Ethernet), PXI instrumentation, or standard ATE testers (Advantest, Teradyne). Strong familiarity in one or more of the following languages: Python, C, CVI, LabviewDesired Skills:Good understanding of linear/limiting high-speed TIA’s and Drivers and their test and characterization using RF test equipmentExcellent programming and automation skills demonstrated through rapid release of test solutions in a fast-paced NPI environmentHands-on wafer sort and handler experience for analog devices up to 67GHz.Good familiarity with de-embedding techniques for microwave test setups.Strong familiarity with test bench equipment, including, but not limited to, Network Analyzers, Sampling Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies and Power Meters, is requiredExperience with schematic capture, PCB layout, and 2D/3D CAD software for design review is strongly desiredSelf-motivated and action orientedExpected Base Pay Range (USD)162,000 - 239,760, $ per annumThe successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
