Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – 1:1 Home Care | Somerset County, NJ
Immediate Need | Flexible Scheduling Around Visits
HumanEdge Healthcare Staffing is seeking a compassionate Per Diem Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide one-on-one care for a homecare client in Somerset County, NJ . This opportunity offers flexibility while delivering impactful, patient-centered therapy in the home setting.
Service Area:
Somerset County, NJ (Bridgewater, Hillsborough, Somerville, Basking Ridge, Warren, Watchung, and surrounding areas)
Flexible scheduling based on approved visits
Competitive hourly compensation
Immediate start with consistent case availability
Supportive, responsive scheduling team
Local assignments with minimal travel
Provide 1:1 in-home speech and language evaluations and therapy
Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs
Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Complete timely, accurate documentation
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team
Active New Jersey Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or eligibility
Ability to work independently in a home care setting
Strong clinical, assessment, and documentation skills
Reliable transportation
Home health or community-based experience
Experience with adult and geriatric populations
Dysphagia/swallowing evaluation and treatment experience
Familiarity with EMR/documentation systems
